And I learned my replacement is a teenage girl!

So, looks like I FINALLY got that stupid runaround about being Ms. Akaba's partner/understudy dealt with, and I'm back to working with her, at least part time?

I think she may have used threats of barrels and cement...?

Okay.

Let's say you were on a decent upward momentum as a Pro's understudy and junior partner.

And then you had a wardrobe malfunction that derailed you for a bit, that while the Pro still wants you, legal and management are trying to crowbar you out.

You'll probably survive it for a while but in the meanwhile you need work to do and not get too idle.

You want to avoid going into secretarial work at your father's law firm for all the awkwardness personally there.

Your girlfriend's family's company needs a new staff member to deal with paperwork and stuff regarding underground construction regarding vaults, game halls and computer servers.

You don't trust the money to not be fairy money that disappears into the ether, but it is work, keeps you out of sight, sounds low stress enough, and the only dress code weirdness is requests to wear tops that make sure your belly button shows.
